Committee on Standing Rules

The Standing Rules of an Annual Conference in the United Methodist Church provide the framework for how the conference conducts its work, organizes leadership, and carries out its responsibilities in alignment with the Book of Discipline.

The Standing Rules are not merely administrative but serve as a foundation for the shared work of our conference. We approach this work with a commitment to clarity, collaboration, and connection, ensuring that our governing structures support the mission and ministry of our Annual Conference. We are grateful for the feedback and collaboration from across the conference that has shaped these Standing Rules and continues to guide our work in the coming years.

Sincerely Standing Rules Committee,

  • Bonnie Bevers
  • Katie Myers
  • Wilson Pruitt
  • Matthew Ratliff
  • EJ Ruiz
  • Adrienne Zermeno, Chair
  • Aaron Gonzalez, Cabinet Liaison
